Bean (Claire) and Nugget (Emma) are juniors at Colgate University. Nugget is an English major with an emphasis in creative writing, and Bean is a history major. They met through the Writing Center, where they both work and spend 80% of their waking hours. They enjoy wordplay, crosswords, Harry Potter, puns (in moderation), and nerdy humor in all its variations. However, they also enjoy meeting their basic human need for sustenance. Seeing as that last bit became a bit of a challenge when they went off the meal plan as upperclasspersons, the creation and consumption of dinner has become one of their foremost preoccupations in life. They write this blog not to present fine dining, but to share their philosophy that in the quest to become fully-functioning human beings, every meal is a triumph.
